In this video, I show you how to make a delicious silk pie out of an unlikely ingredient – AVOCADO!
What You’ll Need for the pie filling:
This pie filling was inspired by Laura Miller’s Raw Pudding video – You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSPN7mLJB78
1 cup of cacao or cocoa
1 teaspoon amino acids or soy sauce
1 – 1 1/2 cups of agave sweetener (Add more depending on how sweet you like it)
1 teaspoon of balsamic
3 tablespoons of coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
What You’ll Need for the Pie Crust:
1 cup of soft dates
1/2 cup of cacao
1 1/2 – 2 cups of walnuts
How to Make a Raw Chocolate Silk Pie
Step 1 Blend all the pie crust ingredients (See What You’ll Need Above) in a blender or food processor. *Food processor works the best!*
Step 2 Take the blended ingredients and ply the ‘dough’ into a pie tin or tart tin.
Step 3 Blend all the pie filling ingredients (See What You’ll Need Above) together using a blender or food processor. *Food processor works the best!*
Step 4 Take the blended pie filling and fill the pie tin
Step 5 Top with any desired toppings & refrigerate before serving
