Vegan doesn’t mean boring rice, beans & salad everyday. It could be fun & festive, like this vegan pumpkin pie. It tastes just as good as our classic pumpkin pie. I could guarantee you if you weren’t told it’s vegan, you would never notice the absence of eggs & cream in this recipe.

I actually enjoyed baking vegan desserts & sweets since we started eating vegan occasionally. The ingredients are easily accessible & at a reasonable price from our local bio supermarket.

Margarine 1.19 euro
Soga flour 2.19 euro
Vegan gelatin 0.99 euro

Sorry in this video I repeatedly said Zimt which is cinnamon in Deutsch. Unfortunately after living here in Germany for more than 2 years, it happens more often than I wished.

Ingredients:10-12 portions

80g Margarine
180g flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

430g pumpkin
400ml coconut milk
130g brown/raw sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon xanthan/vegan gelatin
1tablespoon egg replacement

enough flour for dusting
margarine for grassing
