Recipe: Bailey’s Chocolate Cake with Stout Caramel and Milk Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients:
1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
1 stick of butter (unsalted, though if you are using salted butter eliminate the salt below)
cups buttermilk, shaken
cups dark cocoa powder
1 cups flour, plus more for pans
1 cup heavy cream
cups Guinness
3 large eggs, at room temperature
2 teaspoons baking soda
teaspoons teaspoon of sea salt
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
8 ounces milk chocolate (I used Hershey bars) broken up
1 cup heavy cream
cups Baileys Irish Cream
2 cups sugar
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
cups vegetable oil
