Quick & Easy Christmas Chocolate Truffle Recipe

These delicious and smooth chocolate truffles are perfect for desserts, treats and homemade gifts. Here is how to make these amazing chocolate truffles.

Ingredients you will need:

1/4 cup heavy cream
20 hazelnuts or almonds
200g cooking chocolate(Semi-sweet)
1 tbsp butter
20 hazelnuts or almonds
1/2 cup cooking chocolate for garnishing
Sprinkles (optional)

here is how to make the chocolate truffles

Melt chocolate with cream in a double boiler over low heat to melt the chocolate gently without burning.

Stir continuously until the chocolate is almost melted then add butter and continue stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.

Let it cool, cover it with some plastic wrap making sure that the plastic wrap is touching the melted chocolate and refrigerate for a couple of hours until the mixture gets firm enough to roll it into balls.

Using a teaspoon roll the mixture into small balls adding a hazelnut or a almond inside.

melts the 1/2 cup of cooking chocolate in the microwave.

Using a teaspoon pour the melted chocolate over truffles.

Add sprinkles (if using) before the chocolate starts to set.
