Materials –
• One 7″ and two 6″ round cakes – made using our white chocolate mud cake recipe (see link below)
• 500g (1lb 1oz) white chocolate ganache (see link below)
• 1.4kg (3lb 2oz) modelling chocolate (one batch – see recipe link below) mostly Americolor Super Red, but a small amount tinted gray and black using Americolor Super Black
• glass bowl (6-7″ wide)
• 10” square cake board – covered in black and white fondant
• Large spatula –
• Turntable – Ikea
• 7” Cake plate
• 5” Cake plate
• Large Bread Knife –
• Metal/ Plastic scraper –
• Parchment/ Baking paper
• Large rolling pin –
• Small rolling pin – –
• Cornflour/ Cornstarch
• Sugar glue
• Small paintbrush
• Pizza cutter –
• Exacto knife –
• Royal icing
• Gumballs
• Wooden dowels
• Pencil
• Conduit cutters –
• Moonstone Luster Dust (Dark Silver)
• Clear alcohol or rose spirit to mix with luster
• Round cookie cutters (2″ and 1 1/4″) –
