This is a simple butter sponge cake. The ingredients are 6 eggs, 125g of butter, 2/3 cup of sugar, 1 cup of flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, vanilla essence and grated lemon ring.Preheat oven to moderate 180c. Bake cake in a 20cm round cake tin. Bake 30 minutes or until skewer comes out clean when inserted in centre of cake.To make the Ganache Topping:Use 2 to 3 tbs of hot cream or milk to melt 100g of chocolate. Any jam you like can be the filling for the cake.
