Chocolate Tart – Topless Baker

This chocolate tart is the ultimate indulgence! It has a delicious sweet pastry base, filled with a rich chocolate ganache. If you are a chocolate lover, then this tart is perfect for you!

For this chocolate tart you will need:

Pastry:
125g Plain Flour
50g Icing Sugar
50g Cold Unsalted Butter
Pinch Salt
1 Medium Egg

Chocolate Ganache:
400g 70% Dark Chocolate
60g Unsalted Butter
1 Tbsp Caster Sugar
8 Tbsp Double Cream

I totally missed of the meringue but if you want to add it on top you will need:

2 Egg Whites
110g Caster Sugar
1/4 Tsp Cream of Tartar

1. Whip the egg whites and cream of tartar until they are foamy then increase the speed of your mixer to medium/high.
2. Slowly pour in the sugar and whisk until you have stiff glossy peaks.
3. Pipe into your chocolate tart with a round tip nozzle and then toast with w blow torch.
