A wonderfully indulgent Christmas treat, our Chocolate Christmas Cake is filled with delicious raspberry jam and topped with a decadent layer of chocolate ganache, the perfect centrepiece to a lovingly made dinner this festive period.


1 x 8” Basic Chocolate Cake baked in 3 layers

Basic Chocolate Cake
165g Stork with butter
220 ml milk
330g caster sugar
260g plain flour
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon bicarbonate (or soda)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
70 g cocoa powder

275ml double cream
1 tbsp golden syrup
50g Stork with Butter
350g dark chocolate
To decorate:
1 x 250g jar raspberry jam
Icing sugar to dust
Christmas Decorations (Reindeer, robins, Santa etc)
