Bread Kheer is a simple, quick ‘n easy dessert recipe, with relatively fewer calories when compared to standard desserts; yet very delicious and satisfies your craving for sweet!

Ingredients for bread kheer:
Bread (whole wheat/white) – 4 slices;
Milk – skimmed/2%/whole/half n half (depending on your preference), 2 cups;
Sugar – between quarter to half a cup, depending on your taste;
Green cardamon – 1 no.; crushed/powdered;
Ghee/clarified butter – 1 tbsp for toasting bread crumps, 1 tsp for toasting almonds;
Almonds or other nuts n drt fruits to garnish.
