Betty demonstrates how to make Summer Surprise Fruit Dessert. This is a dessert that contains a variety of fresh fruit and is topped with a sweet, tangy sauce.
Summer Surprise Fruit Dessert
1 cup fresh seedless grapes, washed
1 cup fresh blueberries, washed
1 cup halved or quartered fresh strawberries, washed and prepared
1 cup fresh nectarines or peaches, peeled and chopped
1 cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
2 cups sour cream
In a large bowl, place all fruits and mix well. Sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar over the fruit. Spread 2 cups sour cream evenly over the brown sugar. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. To serve, gently stir fruit and sauce together. Spoon into sherbet glasses. YUM! –Betty 🙂
