DIY Chai Mix Recipe:

3 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp ground ginger
1 tbsp ground cardamom
1 tsp ground cloves
½ tsp ground coriander
½ tsp ground black pepper

In a small bowl, combine spices and mix well. Store in airtight container for up to 6 months.

Chai Oatmeal:

½ cup water
¾ cup milk
½ tsp chai spice mix
¼ cup quick rolled oats
2 tbsp quick cooking steel cut oats
Drizzle of honey
1 tbsp raisins

In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients and bring to a light boil on medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes until oatmeal thickens. Remove from pan and serve in bowl. Top with ¼ tsp of brown sugar and additional raisins.

Chai Biscuit Cookies:

½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
1 tbsp chai spice
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt

In a large bowl whip butter with electric hand mixer until creamy and fluffy. Add in powdered sugar, flour, chai spice, vanilla extract, and salt. Continue mixing the dough until it comes together.

Transfer dough to plastic wrap, flatten out evenly, and chill in refrigerator for 30 min – 1 hour.

Once dough has chilled, dust working surface with flour and roll out to ¼ inch thick. Using a 2 inch biscuit cutter, cut dough into desired shape until there is no dough left.

Line on baking sheet and bake at 350º F for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.

Whole Orange Chai Loaf Cake:

1 orange (about ½ cup)
½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp chai spice
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup + 2 tbsp all purpose flour
¼ tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt

Remove stem and bottom of orange and cut into large chunks. In a food processor blend orange until you get a chunky puree.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar with electric hand mixer until fluffy. Add in eggs, one at a time and continue beating until incorporated. Add orange puree, vanilla extract, and chai spice and mix until combined.

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix again just until batter comes together. Finish off with spatula to avoid dense cake.

Pour into baking pan that has been prepped with butter and flour to cover. Bake at 350º F for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean and cake is golden brown.

Cool for 30 minutes and drizzle glaze. Enjoy!

Orange glaze:

1 tbsp orange juice
½ cup powdered sugar

Combine orange juice and powdered sugar in a small bowl. Mix until smooth. Use for drizzling on whole orange chai spiced cake.
