Banana Bars Recipe

Learn how to make these very tasty Banana Bars that you can prepare as a healthy little treat, snack, merienda, or dessert for the entire family.

Banana Bars Ingredients:

For the Cake:

5 pieces of ripe bananas, sliced
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Banana Bars Frosting:

1 pack of cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make Banana Bars:

1. In a mixing bowl, add the butter and sugar. Mix well using a hand mixer.
2. Add the bananas, vanilla, eggs, baking soda, salt, and flour. Blend well.
3. Pour mixture in a lightly greased baking pan. Spread evenly then bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes. Cool completely.
4. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese. Add the vanilla and powdered sugar.
5. Once the banana bars are cooled completely, spread the frosting. Cut the banana bars into squares before serving.

Enjoy your Banana Bars with a glass of milk, cup of coffee or tea.
